Although the city incorporated 50 years ago, its photographic history dates back 100 years before that. Tim Swenson, chairman of Union City's 50th Anniversary Historical Committee, will present a pictorial history of the area from 1850 to the digital age. It includes the early days of four towns that eventually formed Union City: Alvarado, Decoto, Union City and New Haven.
