Increased maximum, allowable height of walls and fences within the required front yard for residential properties from 3 ft. to 6 ft., when located immediately adjacent to schools, churches, playfields, public parks, flood- control channels, water-pipeline rights-of-way, railroad rights-of-way, or non-residential property. The fence wall will need the Community Development Director's (CDD) approval. Applicants may appeal CCD decision to the Planning Commission and, if desired, to the Council to challenge a Planning Commission decision.

Select Tri-City Voice as the "newspaper of general circulation" to carry City of Newark public notices.
