Suspect sought by Newark Police

A student was standing along the sidewalk when a van pulled up alongside and through the passenger window asked him if he needed a ride home, when the student said no the driver pressed on to a total of three times insisting if the students needed a ride. The suspect is at large.

His description is: Black male in his forties, white hair and patch beneath his lower lip, deep voice, about 5'6", kind of "chubby," tattoo of six dots on left side of face as described in the sketch, two missing teeth on top right, and two missing teeth on center bottom. Teeth described as white, sclera of eyes as "not so white". Sparse eyebrows, right eye more closed than left, described as droop, full lips, small ears, "fat under chin," neck and chest darker than face. Very short curly white hair with short sideburns. Small gold hoop in left ear, tattoo on right upper arm, big enough to take up the entire upper arm, of a diamond shaped outline with silver ink, something similar to "illuminati" in curved writing within the diamond shaped outline, wearing a short-sleeved, collared Hawaiian shirt. VAN White GMC with "C" missing from "GMC", tinted windows, brown beaded necklace hanging from interior rear view mirror.
