PBS announces new Sid the Science Kid episodes
Submitted By Victoria Portugal
Why is it sunny and warm one day and windy and cloudy the next? A rainy day spent indoors doesn't have to be boring, when you know why rain is important, where it comes from and how it helps things grow! These are some of the questions being explored in five new episodes of "Sid the Science Kid," beginning September 14 on PBS KIDS.
These new Sid episodes will provide a basic introduction to the wonders of weather. The five episodes, debuting the week of September 14 - 18, will explore the science of weather and seasons, including a fun play date in the sun with dad; why rain is important; a cold and chilly holiday; what wind can do and a special adventure with Sid the Weatherman.
Sid, the show's energetic and inquisitive preschool star, starts each episode with a new question and then embarks on a fun-filled day of exploration and discovery using music and comedy to encourage preschoolers to think about how to find answers to their own questions.
