Milpitas City Council

September 1, 2009

Santa Clara Valley Water District Board Member Richard Santos stressed the importance of letting people know that there are resources available for conserving water. The water district performs free inspections for leaks. Even though Milpitas gets most of its water from Hetch-Hetchy and not the water district, Santos is pleased with Milpitas' conservation efforts.

Remodeling of the old library into the new Senior Center is still on schedule to open next summer.
