September 9, 2009 > Logan to host homecoming weekend Logan to host homecoming weekend Submitted By Rick La Plante Logan will celebrate its 50th anniversary during the 2009 - 10 school year, and a group of alumni has scheduled a variety of activities for Homecoming Weekend on November 13 - 15. The celebration will start with a "Meet and Greet" event at the Friday night football game against visiting Kennedy High. On Saturday, starting at 3 p.m., there will be tours of the school, student performances and food, followed by an evening "sock hop." On Sunday, with the help of the Oakland Raiders, the fledgling James Logan High School Alumni Association will hold a fund-raising event at the Raiders' game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
