Bill Mancebo's player spotlight: Jeff Bryan
This week we go to Fremont and place the spotlight on 38-year-old Jeff Bryan whose sport of choice is simply staying fit. Jeff works hard at this and exercises to an extreme level five days a week. As a certified personal trainer, Jeff loves what he does and it shows in many ways.
Aside from being in great shape he loves helping others to do the same through a method of OPT workouts that combine stability, strength, power and agility training to achieve peak results.
This John F. Kennedy High graduate has been a resident of Fremont since 1979 and also attended Chabot College in Hayward. Bryan has participated in several sports, but found martial arts to be fascinating and studied the Choy Lay Fut style for 10 years. As owner of 1 on One Fitness in Fremont since 1998; Bryan gets to live his dream by working with clients to teach them how to get and stay in peak condition through tailoring fitness programs that deliver results specific to their needs.
Bryan's active life leaves little time to relax, but when he does he enjoys spending time with his two children. He will surf the Web and watch a little TV also, but craves excitement in his spare time and has been known to do a little stock car racing, snowboarding and has even been down under observing Great Whites in a shark cage off of the Farallon Islands.
As for snacks, Bryan always eats healthy and is a steak and potatoes man but has been known to enjoy some pizza or a burger every now and then, too.
