Chabot College announces new Electronic Systems Technician Program

Submitted By Patricia Russell

Beginning August 17, Chabot College will offer a new program designed to train future employees in the high-growth job area of electronic systems.

"This is an entirely new program that will lead to electronic technician jobs in high-demand industries," said Tom Clark, Dean of Applied Technology and Business. "The green-job industry will rely heavily on electronics technicians to perform everything from energy-efficient building operations to the creation of "green" electronics systems. This is an exciting time to be training in this career field."

Classes in the Electronic Systems Technician program are available both online and in the classroom. They are just $26 per unit and financial aid is available for those who qualify.

Chabot's fall semester begins August 17th.

For more information or to register online, go to www.chabotcollege.edu or email Wayne Phillips at wphillips@chabotcollege.edu or call (510) 723 6700.
