August 5, 2009 > Milpitas Dragon Boat Club wins Milpitas Dragon Boat Club wins Submitted By Claro Arzadon The Milpitas High Dragon Boat Club competed in the Annual Sprint Regatta at Quarry Lakes, hosted by the California Dragon Boat Association. Milpitas High and their counterparts from Mountain View High School, took first place by a tenth of second in Mixed Division D beating Dragon Warriors 3, an adult team out of San Francisco. The sprint races are precursor to the San Francisco International Dragon Boat Festival to be held on Treasure Island, the weekend of September 26-27.
