Delegate authority to City Manager during council recess July 29, 2009 - August 31, 2009:
Third amendment to Niles Town Plaza site design not to exceed $18,650
Purchase order for eight server licenses
Cooperative funding with East Bay Regional Parks to expend $1.8M to Vargas Plateau
Joint Powers Agreement with Newark for senior case management services
Contract with various health care services with Alameda County and Fremont School District

Contract Memorandum of Understanding with Teamsters, Management Employees, Firefighters, Battalion Chiefs, and Operating Engineers.

Consider recommendation of Human Relations Commission for 100 percent smoke-free outdoor dining in unenclosed dining areas. Direct staff to return with an ordinance for approval.

Increase funding for an additional loan of $3,650,350 for Allied Housing Main Street Village project in Irvington District.

Sign service agreement amendment for an additional $72,600 with Seifel Consulting, Inc. for financial advisory services to assist with proposed Redevelopment Plan Amendment

Designation of Vice-Mayor Anu Natarajan as voting delegate to League of California Cities Annual Conference. Councilmember Chan will be the alternate.

Presentation by San Francisco Public Utilities Commission of the current upgrade project which will impact water supplies for the Tri-Cities among others and crosses three major earthquake faults. The East Bay Pipeline contract is currently out to bid. Pipeline construction is expected to begin Spring 2010.
