Warm Springs falls to Bluefins

The East Bay Swim League's (EBSL) only remaining undefeated team, the Newark Bluefins, were able to take on the Warm Springs Gators on Saturday, June 27, and leave with a convincing victory, 641-392.

Listed below are Gator swimmers that achieved at least two season-best times during Saturday's meet:
Girls: Alexis Lira, Catherine Doering, Yamini Pattan, Emily Qiu, Lita Watkins, Taylor Flores, Vanessa Sarge, Shawnna McAvoy, Emily Grant, Jasmine McAlister, Alexys Vancil, Talia Menzes, Madison Mead, Tori Selzer; Boys: Garrett Takei, Sesh Padmanabhan, Andrew Mack, Max Fontes, Gavin Scully, Oliver Sullivan, Kyle Muldoon, Nathaniel Sullivan, Brandon McAlister, Konner Delang, Mikey Parrisenti, Taylor Sweet, Jake Oregon, Ryan Muldoon.

The Gator's two assistant coaches are former Gator swimmers, Kelsey St. Marie and Shelby Twohig.

The Gators swim at the Warm Springs Cabana Club off Warm Springs Boulevard in Fremont. Our final home meet this summer is on July 18 at 8 a.m. The EBSL's championship meet is at Chabot College on July 25, all day.

The Gators are made up of just over 100 swimmers that range in age from 5-18 years old. Some members of the team may swim as long as 15 summer seasons by the time they are 18.
