Emerson The Marine Corps League Veterans Organization is opening a new detachment in downtown Hayward. We are seeking honorably discharged U.S. Marines, and Navy Corpsmen who served with Marines. Costs to join are $30 per year to be a Marine Corps League member and $20 per year in club dues for club expenses. You will also need to supply a copy of your discharge papers. Meetings are held at the Hayward Veterans Memorial Building, 22737 Main Street, Hayward. This is in downtown Hayward on Main Street between C and D streets, across from the fire station. Our meeting time is at 7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month. We are seeking 20 or more men and women to be "Charter Members" of this new detachment named "The Leathernecks."
