LOV Concert

The Tri-Cities League of Volunteers (LOV) and the Newark Arts Council will present a concert featuring Hurricane Sam and The Hotshots. The 20th Season of LOV's Sunday afternoon series will showcase the talent of Sam Rudin, an extraordinary pianist and compelling vocalist. An exciting, high energy performer, Rudin has worked with Chubby Checker, Frankie Lee and bands Slick pop-soul, Sister Sledge, Back in the Saddle.
Hurricane Sam and The Hot Shots are world-class musicians, playing a wide range of blues -based music from swing to funk. Hotshots include Steve Evans on bass, Jeff Ervine on sax and Jimmy Hobson on drums. There will be room for dancing if you wish to swing to the music. Complimentary refreshments will be served during intermission.
Suggested donation is $8 adults, $5 seniors and students (12-18) and $2 for children. Parking available in the rear and the front parking lot.
