Sharing the Arts

Union City Leisure Services presents art event open to all Bay Area residents 18 or above. This event is open to all forms of art: colored pencil and marker, textiles, figure drawing, sketching, drawing, charcoal, ceramics, pen and ink, quilting, graphic, silk screens, photography, airbrush, mixed media, recycled art, oil acrylic, watercolor, and computer art.
Applications can be downloaded from www.ci.union-city.ca.us and should be submitted by Monday, June 1. There is flat entry $15 entry fee whether you submit one or two pieces. Only cash or checks (made payable to: The City of Union City) will be accepted, no credit cards. The entry fee will be returned for pieces not selected for the show.
All work submitted will be reviewed by a judging panel selected by the city, decisions being final. Participants will receive a certificate of participation. The top 5 pieces will be voted upon by Paddy Coffee House's customers and the Public Art Review Board (PARB) and will receive a ribbon and certificate.
