The Niles Canyon Railway presents Education Train 2009 for children ages 3 and above. The curriculum will introduce them to railroad history, culture and safety including instruction from Operation Lifesaver, a national program that educates the public about railroad safety.
Visit www.oli.org and click on "Kids activities" to find coloring pages for younger students and word puzzles for older ones. Each student who presents the railroad crew with a completed activity will receive a free pass for one Sunday Excursion during the 2009 operating season. Limit one free pass per child; does not include specialty trains.
