Basics of photo composition
Join the Fremont Art Associations' (FAA) Photography Group for training on the basics of digital camera use. This photography field trip will take place at Garin Park in Hayward. The group will walk through Garin Park starting at the Tamarack trailhead and discuss basic camera operations and composition. Bring your camera, tripod, water bottle, lunch, hat and walking shoes. Everyone will car pool to reduce on-street parking. There is no gate fee in this part of the park.
The Third Saturday group meets at the FAA gallery for a variety of photographic educational opportunities and field trips. This is a free activity sponsored by the FAA. If you enjoy having fun with photography please join this ongoing program of classes and fieldtrips. Join their Yahoo group "FAADPG" for the most current information on their activities.
The event is lead by Ralph Cooksey-Talbott. He has been working as a photographer since 1972 when he moved to California from Michigan. During the 1970's he studied under Ansel Adams in Yosemite.
