Bill Mancebo's player spotlight: Marshall Munoz
This week's player spotlight introduces us to Marshall Munoz. Munoz, 11, plays right field for the Niles-Centerville Major Division's Giants.
Marshall has a bit of experience, as he's been playing baseball for seven years, and has come a long way since his T-ball days. Although seen here perfectly scooping up a grounder in right field, he would prefer working behind home plate as a catcher - his favorite position.
Choosing athlete Jim Thorpe for an idol and hot dogs as a favorite food, Marshall should go a long way in sports. He currently attends Mission Valley Elementary, with a focus on baseball for his future as he aspires to play in the big leagues someday. If that doesn't work out, he'll go into manufacturing baseball bats for the pros. |
