April 15, 2009 > Take a hike Take a hike Submitted By Johnny Ng The annual East Bay Trails Challenge invites people of all ages to hike at least five of 20 select trails in a self-guided hiking program. It is sponsored by Kaiser Permanente and the East Bay Regional Park District, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary. Trails Challenge registrants will have online access to the 2009 guidebook. Those who complete the challenge receive an organic T-shirt and commemorative pin (while supplies last). The program is open to the public, so take a hike with friends and family!
