March 18, 2009 > Spring concert Spring concert Submitted By Jeff Yaeger The Milpitas Community Band will perform "Around the World" music from across the planet on Friday, March 20, 7:30 p.m. at the Milpitas Community Center. Admission is free. Music to include: French March Patrol, English Folk Song Suite, Fantasy on a Russian Air, Tales from the Vienna Woods, Madalen Landscapes, Espagnole Suite, Danze Caribe, and more! The band is in its 16th season. Director Jeff Yaeger is in his first year as conductor. Dedicated volunteer musicians from Milpitas and surrounding communities make up the band, including some "original" members from the first season.
