March 18, 2009 > Foundation seeks board members Foundation seeks board members Submitted By Liz Barron HERS Breast Cancer Foundation needs strong, committed, community-oriented people to help the organization grow its vision and serve its mission. The Tri-City nonprofit seeks individuals interested in joining its Board of Directors. The board meets the fourth Wednesday of each month, except during holidays. Members serve for three years and must be willing to: * Promote and attend events organized or held for HERS. * Spread the word about HERS in the community. * Make an annual, personal financial contribution at a level meaningful to him/her.
