March 11, 2009 > Spring Exhibition
Each year the students, friends and supporters of PhotoCentral share their best work and celebrate the art of Photography. This eclectic group show features a wide variety of works from over 50 artists.
PhotoCentral is part of Hayward's Recreation department and offers quality artwork in its gallery, with facilities for dedicated photographic artists with classes, workshops, darkrooms and matting facility. Classes and workshops are designed for photographers of all abilities and ages and are appropriate to both traditional and digital image-makers.
Founded in 1983 by Geir and Kate Jordahl, for the past twenty-three years, PhotoCentral has developed into a community program for photographers to grow, explore and enjoy the company of other photographers. The instructors/assistants represent a broad range of talents and photographic interests.
The Spring Show features photographs from the friends, patrons and students of the PhotoCentral Program. This event is free and the public is invited.
