March 11, 2009 > Newark Memorial High to host Newark Cup Finals Newark Memorial High to host Newark Cup Finals By Biff Jones The 2009 version of the Newark Cup Soccer Finals will be held at Newark Memorial High on Wednesday and Friday, March 11 and 13. Consolation finals will be at 6 p.m. and the Championship at 7:30. Girls games will be on Wednesday; and boys on Friday. Newark Cup is open to Newark Elementary School District children in grades four through six. In the consolation match for the girls, Bunker Elementary goes up against Musick Elementary. The championship game will pit Miliani and Snow elementary schools. Consolation game for the boys has Schilling Elementary facing Musick; the championship final has Lincoln and Snow elementary schools going head to head in the last game of the 2009 Newark Cup.
