February 18, 2009 > Bad Seed Bad Seed Can evil be inherited? That's the question posed by Maxwell Anderson's stage play "The Bad Seed." Rhoda Penmark (Emma Thvedt) plays a nine year-old girl who is perfection itself unless she's crossed or challenged. Several disturbing recent events have led Rhoda's mother Christine (Sandy Sodos) to suspect that her child is a latent murderess. Upon discovering that she is the daughter of a convicted killer, Christine becomes convinced that sweet little Rhoda is a "Bad Seed"- an inherent killer who feels no remorse because she doesn't know any better. Will the garrulous landlady (Kathy Blumenfeld) and her brother (Chris Ciabattoni) fall for Rhoda's seeming innocence?
