Tri-City Homeless Coalition Marks 20th Anniversary
Submitted By Jane Mueller and Carol Arata
Tri-City Homeless Coalition (TCHC), a leading Alameda County provider of long-term housing solutions for people with extremely low incomes, will mark its 20th anniversary by changing its name. In the effort to end homelessness, TCHC serves people not only in Fremont, Newark, and Union City but all over Alameda County, including San Leandro, Hayward, Castro Valley, Pleasanton, and Livermore.
The new name, currently being kept under wraps, will reflect the agency's maturity as an organization as well as its increased geographical reach. The new name will be revealed on Wednesday, February 11 at 1:30 p.m. outdoors in front of the agency's administrative office, 40849 Fremont Blvd., Fremont. Members of the public are being asked to park on the street or in the public parking lot on Bay Street and enter through BridgeWay Apartments.
