January 28, 2009 > FC Fremont TOPS advance to second round in CYSA State Cup FC Fremont TOPS advance to second round in CYSA State Cup Submitted By Nanette Cook Photos By Michelle Soares The Fremont TOPS, a girls U12 Division 1 soccer team, participated in the California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA) State Cup soccer games held at Central Park on Saturday, Jan. 24, and Sunday, Jan. 25. The TOPS played three games over the two day first round, finishing second in their bracket, and earning one of the top two spots moving on to round two of the CYSA State Cup games. Round two will be held in Morgan Hill on Saturday, Feb. 7. TOPS players include Dinaz Bamji, Tylore Bell, Megan Coffey, Peyton Cook, Yvette Cuellar, Vienna Curtis, Jessica Hernandez, Juliana McCuaig, Jarna Patel, Melissa Reese, Rebecca Ryan, Dakota Sierras, Sharan Singh, Rhianna Soares, Melody Song and Elizabeth Yang. The team is led by Coach Rob Hernandez and Assistant Coach Lindsey Lewis.
