December 3, 2008 > Lions in action Lions in action Submitted By Ripple Leung Fremont Asian Lions has been working toward aiding disadvantaged Asians living in the US. Many seniors were immigrants who have limited language or mobility to travel. We have been very active in organizing senior outing activities in order to provide opportunities for them to experience recreational areas outside Fremont and a platform where they meet friends and have a social life. We provide the unique space for them to enjoy and have a chance to cultivate friendship. The upcoming outing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2008. We will visit San Jose downtown Festival of Lights and Egyptian Museum Garden. We will depart from Fremont Senior Center at Lake Elizabeth at 10 a.m. A fee of: $3 includes transportation and lunch.
