Inner Engineering program for health and vitality

By Meenu Gupta

Handling the daily grind of worldly, social and family responsibilities leaves us exasperated and stressed out. Meditation has a proven effect on calming the mind, where all stress prevails, and thus bringing harmony to the body. Inner Engineering, and such programs, are designed to establish optimal health and vitality, enhance mental calm and clarity, and instill a deep sense of joy.

Programs are offered by highly trained teachers to allow individuals to take tangible steps towards their inner growth. Taught in their full depth and dimension, the programs provide methods for establishing oneself in a way of life that affirms wholeness and vitality.

Isha Foundation, a non-profit public service organization, was formed following the recent book tour by its founder, Sadhguru Vasudev, who toured, along with co-author Cheryl Simone, earlier this summer to Atlanta, Washington DC, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Tampa. The book, "Midnights with the Mystic," an Amazon best-seller, details conversations which took place between Simone and Sadhguru Vasudev. Isha Yoga programs are designed by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, a realized yogi and mystic with profound mastery of the ancient science of yoga.

Inner Engineering is offered in a committed 7-day format comprised of lectures, interactive discussions and guided meditations. "Our SF Bay Area center will be offering the 7-day Inner Engineering Programs in Milpitas," said Namath Isha, Inner Engineering teacher.

All programs begin with a one-hour introductory lecture on the first day of the program, from 7 - 8 p.m., which is free and open to the public. Attendance for all 7-days is required, with the schedule being 7 - 10 p.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, and 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday. Registration and complete details are available online at www.innerengineering.org. Registration will follow the introductory talk if space permits.

"Isha Yoga has made me see the world through new eyes. My heart is softer, my body lighter and I truly appreciate each moment that I am alive," said Margie Mercer, Hatha Yoga Teacher.

Inner Engineering goes from Wednesday, December 10 - Tuesday, December 16 at the India Community Center in Milpitas. The program fee is $290. Call (866) 424-4742 for more information. More information about Sadhguru and the foundation is available from www.ishafoundation.org.
