October 29, 2008 > Successful fund-raising drive Successful fund-raising drive Submitted By Skipper Yenchik and Gwan Alisantosa Knights of Columbus Council No. 8747 had a successful fund-raising drive on October 17, 18 and 19 at Ocean Supermarket at 2 S. Park Victoria Dr., Milpitas, and Lucky Supermarket at 1350 S. Park Victoria Dr, Milpitas. The fund-raising event was conducted to benefit the Special Education program at Milpitas High School. It is also a part of our annual drive to aid persons with intellectual disabilities. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all who supported this event: Ocean Supermarket, Lucky Supermarket, donors, parents, teachers, all students volunteers, members of the Knights of Columbus, the City of Milpitas, the media, including the Milpitas Post, Ming Pao, Sing Tao Daily, Tri City Voice, World Journal, and St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church for providing the announcements.
