October 15, 2008 > Fremont Area Writers Club Meetings Fremont Area Writers Club Meetings Submitted By Bob Garfinkle Open Mic Thursday, Oct 16 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Barnes and Noble bookstore 3900 Mowry Ave., Fremont The Fremont Area Writers Club and the Fremont Branch of AAUW will sponsor an Open Mic. We meet near the History/Technology section at the back of the store. You will be given 5 to 10 minutes to read. If you do not want to read, sit back and have fun listening to others read, have a cup of coffee, etc. An Open Mic session is an opportunity for authors to try out their material before a live audience. We will be holding Open Mic sessions on the third Thursday of each month at the Fremont Barnes and Nobel. The Open Mic is free and open to the public. No reservations required. Her company helps writers to polish their manuscripts and assists in locating the right literary agent for you. The meeting is open to the public. A donation of $5 is requested.
