Aegis hosts Alzheimer's dinner and participates in Memory Walk
Aegis of Fremont is participating in "Memory Walk 2008 - Taking Steps to End Alzheimer's" which will raise money for people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia. Proceeds from Memory Walk 2008 at Treasure Island on Saturday, October 11th at 9 a.m. will be used to support a wide range of Alzheimer-related programs for the thousands of local families and caregivers affected by Alzheimer's disease.
Aegis will be accepting monetary and silent auction item donations for the Memory Walk on Treasure Island until October 16th. Checks should be made payable to the Alzheimer's Association. All donations are, of course, tax deductible to the extent allowable by IRS codes. Please bring or mail your donations to the Concierge desk. You may also donate online by using the following link: http://memorywalk.kintera.org/treasureisland08/tabbystewart?faf=1&e=1886898253
In addition, please consider supporting this worthy cause by providing a silent auction item for a fund raiser dinner that we will be hosting on Thursday October 16, from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. All proceeds will go to the Alzheimer's Association. There will be wine and cheese pairings, dinner, dessert and musical entertainment. It should prove to be an enjoyable evening for all!
