September 24, 2008 > Pirates of Emerson opens this weekend Pirates of Emerson opens this weekend Fremont's own nationally acclaimed haunted house, Pirates of Emerson, a Haunted Adventure, filled with frightening ghouls, ghosts and goblins is a don't miss experience for those looking for that extra thrill and chill. Not for the weak at heart, multiple camouflaged actors lurk in the least expected places around the 40,000 square foot compound. Their sudden appearance combined with extensive use of special effects, robotics and animatronics keep visiting adventurers in constant fright. The Pirates of Emerson opens Friday, September 26 and will haunt local environs through Sunday, November 2. Hours are 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. during the week. Open days during the week vary so it is best to check the Pirates website for weekday haunting hours.
