September 17, 2008 > Ballot Box notification Ballot Box notification The Alameda ROV's office delivered a ballot box to the City Clerk's office. The ballot box will be available for anyone who wishes to drop off their completed Vote by Mail ballot (formerly known as an Absentee ballot) for the November 4 General Election instead of placing it in the mail. The City Clerk's office is open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We will have the ballot box available up until the close of the polls, which is 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 4.
