Ohlone Women's Basketball ink summer signees

The sun is not the only roundball on fire this summer. Basketball is torching the courts at Ohlone College in Fremont. The Ohlone Women's Basketball recruiting class is red hot. The Renegades are already steaming up the court with their style of play this summer. " This is probably the strongest group of freshman that we have had in seven years," Ohlone Head Women's Basketball Coach, Elizabeth Stanley. With five returning sophomores including Honorable Mention All-Leaguers Geneya Rodgers and Louise Valdez, the Renegades look to be headed for league, Nor-Cal, and State honors.

The Ohlone Women's Basketball team has increased their competitive edge since signing these nine recruits since many members of its 2007-2008 team decided to accept scholarship offers at a variety of highly competitive four-year institutions throughout the nation. "Our goal at Ohlone College is for student-athletes to graduate in two years and to get them to the next level" Stanley commented. Members of the 2007-2008 that will play at the next level include:
