July 16, 2008 > Celebrate the Centerville free dining room Celebrate the Centerville free dining room By Dustin Findley Centerville Free Dining Room will be celebrating its 20th anniversary on Thursday, July 24. There will be hors d'oeuvres and dessert, Kerry Quaid at the piano and Northern California High School Barbershop Quartet Champions 'Element.' Volunteers, and only volunteers, serve a hot dinner every Tuesday and Thursday from 4 -6 p.m. They also give away canned goods and other items to those in need. Various volunteers, organizations, and churches work together to pick up, deliver, cook, serve, wait tables, wash dishes, and more. Anyone and everyone is welcome to the Centerville Free Dining Room. There is much to celebrate: for those the Centerville Free Dining has helped, does help, and will continue to help.
