Measure I reminder
The Hayward Unified School District is counting on its community to come out and vote Yes for Measure I next Tuesday, June 3. Supported by students, parents, the city council, the mayor, and hundreds of teachers, administrators, and citizens of Hayward, Measure I will propel the Hayward Schools into the 21st century. When asked "What do you think our schools need the most?" Hayward parents respond with "safety and cleanliness." Measure I will address those issues with remote security camera systems and easy to clean new building materials in the schools. But more than that, the money, raised through the first bond issue in 45 years, will give he City of Hayward schools that it can take pride in, modern schools, with the latest media and communication tools, bright, classrooms furnished with new desks and curtains, up-to-date heating, cooling, and plumbing systems, and large, airy multi-purpose rooms that truly do serve multiple purposes! This is the chance for Hayward voters to make the future happen now - Vote Yes on Measure I.
