Earthquakes home games
By Don Jedlovic and Biff Jones Photos By by Don Jedlovic
Tri-City Voice staff photographer, Don Jedlovic, was on hand at McAfee Coliseum in Oakland on Saturday, April 12, to cover the San Jose Earthquakes' Bay Area home opener vs. the Chicago Fire. He then covered another opener before a near sellout crowd at newly refurbished Buck Shaw Stadium on the campus of Santa Clara University against then first place FC Dallas, Saturday, May 3. The Earthquakes will be playing three of their home games this year at McAfee and the remaining home games (twelve) at Buck Shaw. The Quakes' most recently played last Saturday, May 10, against Columbus Crew at Buck Shaw. Enjoy some of Don's photos.
Next home match for San Jose will be on Thursday, May 22, 7:30 p.m., against Houston Dynamo on the Santa Clara Campus. Dynamo is the team that used to be the Earthquakes before they moved to Houston. You can look forward to more Earthquakes' photos here in the Tri-City Voice as space permits. |
