East Bay Parents and caregivers whose kids attend middle schools in Alameda County are invited to attend a parent empowerment conference on Saturday, April 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Alameda County Office of Education (ACOE) in Hayward. The half day training focuses on how parents of middle school students can work with the school community to help their children achieve academic success.
The parent empowerment conference is being organized by ACOE's Project INSPIRE, in partnership with Hayward Unified School District.
Project Inspire is a statewide initiative that provides multilingual training and resources to parents and service providers.
