Mended hearts
Submitted By Mended Hearts Chapter 162
Mended Hearts is a support group for heart patients, which offers help, support and encouragement to heart patients and their families. They do this through phone correspondence, hospital visits (before and after the procedure), a bi-monthly newsletter called, "Keep the Beat," and a monthly meeting with speakers discussing issues important to heart health.
Whether or not you have been diagnosed with a heart condition, you are invited to attend the Mended Hearts meetings at Kaiser Permanente (KP) in Hayward. Mended Hearts meets in KP's Conference Room C-1, which is located behind the cafeteria, on the second Saturday of every month (except July) from 1 - 3 p.m. Family and friends are always welcome.
For more information about Mended Hearts, contact Jane Rouzer, Mended Hearts Chapter 162 President, at (510) 357-6207.
