Writers' open mic

Submitted By Robert A. Garfinkle

The South Bay Branch of the California Writers Club (CWC) and the Fremont Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) are co-sponsoring an open mic session on Thursday, Jan. 17 at the Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Fremont from 7 - 9 p.m.

We meet near the History/Technology section at the back of the store. You will be given 5 - 10 minutes to read. If you do not want to read, sit back and have fun listening to others read, have a cup of coffee, etc. An open mic session is an opportunity for authors to try out their material before a live audience.

We will be holding open mic sessions on the third Thursday of each month at the Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Fremont. The open mic is free and open to the public.
