Fremont Holiday Food and Toy Drive

Through Friday, Dec. 21, the Fremont Fire Department is holding its annual Holiday Food and Toy Drive. Donations of nonperishable food and unwrapped toys will be accepted at any of the 10 Fremont Fire Stations and at Fremont City Hall.

The Fremont Fire Stations will be accepting gifts from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. any day of the week, while City Hall will be collecting gifts Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

This year, new and unwrapped (not in gift paper) gifts appropriate for teenagers and adults are needed the most. Tri-City Volunteers, Inc. will distribute the received donations to needy families in the Tri-City Area with the assistance of Fremont Fire Department Volunteers.

For more information about acceptable types of gift donations, Fremont Fire Station Locations, or how to volunteer call Vic Valdes, Fremont Fire Department, at (510) 494-4295.
