November 21, 2007 > Community Can and Bottle Recycle Day Community Can and Bottle Recycle Day Submitted By David Zehnder The Newark Recreation and Community Services Department will sponsor a community-wide Can and Bottle Recycle Day event to benefit After School, Summer Ash Street and DARE programs in Newark. The event will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Siliman Activity Center parking lot. All cans and bottles with a California Redemption Value symbol (CRV) will be accepted.
