November 7, 2007 > Domincan Sisters' Holiday Boutique Domincan Sisters' Holiday Boutique Submitted By Sister Barbara Larner, OP The Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose cordially invite all to their Holiday Boutique on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 17 and 18 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The event will be held at the Dominican Motherhouse, 43326 Mission Blvd., Fremont. Entrance to the property is from Mission Tierra Place, it is adjacent to the Northern entrance for Ohlone College. The Sisters' famous California extra-virgin olive oil, homemade fruitcakes, and delicious baked goods are some of the items that will be available. In addition, ceramics, oil paintings, hand-made afghans, crocheted and knitted articles, ornaments, cards, and more Christmas and novelty items will make great gifts for this holiday season. Proceeds from the Holiday Boutique will be used for the benefit of elderly Dominican Sisters who have retired from many years of selfless service in education, health care, and many other ministries.
