Submitted By Nanette Cook

Saturday, September 15, 2007, Juice, FC Fremont Girls Under-12 House League soccer team continued their winning streak with an exciting 2-1 win over the Stompers.
Juice kept the pressure on the Stompers in the first half of the game limiting them to just one shot on goal. Emily Hoeven, Alexandra Ulrich and Rachel Wong played strong defense for the Juice keeping the ball away from their end of the field for most of the half.
In the second half Peyton Cook opened the scoring as she delivered the ball into the Stompers net for a 1-0 lead. Tori Nelson added another goal and the Juice went up 2-0. Carissa Saylor and Christina Martin both had awesome shots that just missed the goal and were unable to beat the tough Stompers' goalie.
Stompers got a goal late in the second half which brought them within one at 2-1. The excellent second half defense of Talia Dubois, Harsimron Hothi, and Mary Fowler held the Stompers off and secured the win for Fremont's Juice who are 3-0 so far this season.
