Garfinkle The South Bay Branch of the California Writers Club is sponsoring an Open Mic session on Thursday, September 20th at the Barnes and Nobel Bookstore at 3900 Mowry Avenue from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Come and read a selection from your writing, or a favorite author. You will be given at least 5 minutes to read. If you do not want to read, sit back and have fun listening to others read, have a cup of coffee, etc. An Open Mic session is an opportunity for authors to try out their material before a live audience. The South Bay Branch is planning Open Mic sessions on the third Thursday at the Barnes and Nobel starting with this gathering. Open Mic is free and open to the public.
