Cities of Newark and Hayward are celebrating Grandparents Day on September 9 and 16th respectively. Kids can go swimming with Grandma and Grandpa at Newark's Silliman Family Aquatic Center and at Hayward's Kenneth C. Aitken Senior and Community Center, they can share a delicious breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice and coffee. Hayward families can also enjoy face painting, an animal show hosted by Sulphur Creek Nature Center and capture these memorable moments in a digital picture for $1. |
