Submitted By Theresa Dahdouh
Eleven year old Sarah Dahdouh, a 7th grade Alvarado Middle School student, was crowned July 22, 2007 as Miss Northern California Preteen at the American Coed Pageant. Sarah believes that this is an incredible opportunity to be a positive role model to other young girls.
Sarah will attend the National Pageant for her age group in Florida and Disney World during the week of Thanksgiving 2007. The Miss American Coed National Pageant hold pageants for the purpose of recognizing and rewarding outstanding young women between the ages of three and twenty-two for their past and present accomplishments and to encourage them to set and achieve high goals for the future.
Sarah enjoys many activities such as swimming, soccer, color guard, singing and dancing just to name a few. But her favorite thing to do is to helping others. Sarah is active in the community volunteering for many organizations. Recently, she walked in Union City's Relay for Life raising money for the American Cancer Society and plans to do her fourth walk for the American Heart Association this September. She is working on her Girl Scout bronze award and plans to educate others about dealing with bullies. |
