I simply fail to understand your need to make personal attacks. I have no idea what you gain by name calling (such as sidekick) except to amuse some of your readers I guess. I find your editorial attacks on people and not issues extremely distasteful. Your claim that this junket to India is my way of getting to see my folks is totally ridiculous. I do have a planned vacation in December when I plan to take my daughter back to visit India - so I really don't need this trip to see my folks. If you must know why this trip is happening, why didn't you question every other sister-city trip before this - the one to Japan and China and Mexico and even India in the past? I guess you expect someone to go on an official trip and not be paid for it as well - makes perfect sense. I got on the council to make a difference to my community - something you will fail to understand - and I intend to keep doing a good job till I am done. Anu Natarajan Fremont
