Hindi language approved by Fremont Board of Education and UC System

Hindi is the national language of India. With the growing role of India in the global economy, Hindi is becoming an increasingly important language to learn. Hindi curriculum submitted by Madhu Bhasha Kendra and the India Community Center has been approved by the Fremont Unified School District Board of Education and by the UC system. Credits earned can be used to fulfill the Foreign Language requirement for graduation and for UC admission.
Starting with the Fall semester 2007, Hindi classes will be offered at several middle and high schools in the Fremont Unified School District for five credits per semester. Students will meet for 4.5 hours per week. Class fee is $750.00 per semester; discount for early bird enrollment by June 30; discount for India Community Center membership.
