The recipient of this event is Hope Flight Foundation (www.hopeflightfoundation.org). Hayward based Hope Flight Foundation is an organization whose mission is to provide free long-distance medical air transport for children with life-threatening illnesses, who are underserved, isolated, have limited financial resources or compromised immune systems. Their additional mission is to provide free air transportation to children's healthcare camps and Make-a-Wish flights.
