Support the March of Dimes
Submitted By Stuart Hunter
The March of Dimes is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature births, and infant mortality. Founded in 1938, the March of Dimes has been protecting the health of babies and their families through cutting edge research and innovative programs that have saved millions of babies from death or disability.
Once each year Farmers Insurance Group conducts a national fund raising campaign for the March of Dimes. Last year the company donated $3.2 million to the March of Dimes, the fourth largest donor of some 20,000 corporate donors. $1.4 million of that came from the independent Agents and District Managers of Farmers.
This year the Agents and District Managers are being asked to raise $2 million on our Be a Hero for Babies Day, June 7th. My goal is to raise $10,000 as my District's contribution to that goal. The 30 agents in my District and I have raised nearly $6000 to date by our own contributions. To make up the balance, however, we need help! Your help.
I am asking for a donation to the March of Dimes. All contributions can be made securely and directly to the March of Dimes on-line at: www.walkamerica.org/dist64
For every $50 donated, I will enter your name into a drawing for one of five prizes.
For every $100, or more, I will match your donation with an additional $20 donation.
For every $200, I will match your donation with an additional $50 donation.
All donations must be entered by June 7, 2007 to be eligible for prizes and matching contributions.
Be a Hero,
Stuart Hunter, MBA, District Manager 3100 Mowry Avenue, Suite 407, Fremont (510) 505-1077 www.farmersagent.com/shunter
